I began my yogic practice at the age of 8 years old. Yoga has been my rock during diificult times and my own journey with Cancer. My teachings pull fom a mixture of my own transformative, healing experiences and a myriad of lineages including Iyengar, Tantra, Restorative and Kundalini. I see Yoga is a vessel for well being and living truthfully to your authentic self.
I teach all levels and aim to make my classes easily acessible to all types of people in all stages of life. My motto is, "Start where you are and do what feels good in each moment. We can be a masterpeice and work in progress at the same time. We are fluid beings in constant flux."
My intention is always to create a safe, tranquil space to move, breathe and be part of a happy and supportive sangha. What better way to enjoy life than in a healthy, fluid body and with a grounded, calm mind? In my view, yoga is not only useful to still the mind but to facilitate better breathing, dynamic movement and overall well being. The key factors in my teachings are respecting the students limitations while encouraging them to evolve in the practice, teaching proper alignment, and being open and flexible to their needs. My 90 minute practices welcome others to express and kindly share their authentic truth without judgement. Wherever I teach is a "free to feel good space." Creating a sense of harmony in the chakras and balance in the doshas is also a beautiful side effect of my yoga style and I'm always grateful to those who come into class, onto the mat ,to share their energy and time with me!
I'm a clinical aromatherapist and have been working with botanical medicine, so I like weave aromatherapy into some classes, especially during yoga nidra and savasanas.
As a two time cancer survivor, I'm eager to help others take their health back and thrive! I also see Yoga as a great platform for incorporating healing adjuncts like sound therapy and energy medicine.
I offer free cancer support for patients and their caregivers.
I have participated in retreats based on holisitic and Ayurvedic wellness principles, as I am a chef with a strong background in nutrition, Ayurveda and raw/vegan cooking.

I'm currently an E-RYT 200 RYA certified Yoga Instructor working on my RYT 500. I have completed several trainings and studied under diverse teachers and lineages, though some do not fall under the Yoga Alliance certification. My trainings include Vinyasa, Tantra,Yoga for Breast Cancer, Prenatal, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa, Hatha, Chair Yoga, Mobility imparied Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Vipasana meditation.
