Richard Miller - Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapy, Yoga for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Richard, author of Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga, is a contemporary spiritual teacher of nondualism, honored by Yoga Journal and featured in American Yoga and Will Yoga and Meditation Really Change My Life? Richard Miller is co-founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapy, the founding president of the Centre of Timeless Being, and co-founder and co-president of the Institute for Spirituality and Psychology.
Richard is presently a consultant on research projects studying the healing impact of a Yoga Nidra meditation protocol that he has developed with such diverse populations as US soldiers experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (a collaboration between the Samueli Institute and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center), the homeless (The Institute of Noetic Sciences and the Committee on the Shelterless), people with chronic pain (Salt Lake City) and the well-being of college students (Evergreen State College).
In addition to his research and writing projects, Richard leads retreats and trainings throughout North America with a focus on enlightened daily life.
